These types of devices help the individual to reprogram their positional sleeping habits.

Other devices can be inserted into the mouth to help move the tongue or position the mouth so that snoring can be controlled. One of those devices is an anti snoring dental device. This device can be fitted by one's dentist by simply having the device configured to the patient's mouth. Once inserted at bedtime it helps to position the jaw and tongue forward which may reduce the snoring.

One additional device that may help to reduce snoring is a Puresleep snoring device. A Puresleep snoring device is a commercial product that is manufactured by the Pure Sleep Company. Like the dental device the Puresleep snoring device is placed in the mouth. When inserted the Puresleep snoring device brings the lower part of the jaw forward.
